The Wild Life Warriors and VCAL students planted 100 trees as part of National Tree Planting Day. Warrnambool Toyota and Planet Ark provided the trees which will help the school maintain a healthy biodiversity within the school grounds. The students are learning about the importance of sustainability, biodiversity and conservation as part of the TAP program
Year 8 students learnt how to make Camembert cheese from organic milk supplied by Schulz Organic dairy and under the watchful eye of master cheese maker, Nigel Mottram.
Sarah Napier from the Corangamite Shire spoke to the year 7 and 8 students about the Corangamite Food Trail. Students are learning about local businesses, their successes and failures and the need for hard work, innovation and quality produce. They are preparing to develop their own small local business.
